DESCRIPTION:Palliative Horizons is a one-day education session from the Canadian Society of Palliative Medicine (CSPM) on palliative care for people living with ALS/MND and Parkinson’s disease. It is for palliative medicine physicians and other clinicians working in neuropalliative care. \nThe session takes place in Richmond\, British Columbia\, and online. Recordings are available to all registrants after the event. \nWhat the program covers\nThe program follows the course of illness\, with a focus on practical approaches clinicians can apply in patient care and interdisciplinary teams: \n\nDiagnosis and disease progression\nKey clinical decision points\nSymptom management and medication considerations\nImpact on caregivers\nInterdisciplinary and community supports\n\nFaculty have clinical experience in ALS\, Parkinson’s disease\, and neuropalliative care. \nRegistration\nEarly-bird rates end September 30.
