Canadian Society of Palliative Medicine: Palliative Horizons – Clinical Approaches to ALS and Parkinson’s

$325 – $575Palliative Horizons is a one-day education session from the Canadian Society of Palliative Medicine (CSPM) on palliative care for people living with ALS/MND and Parkinson’s disease. It is for palliative medicine physicians and other clinicians working in neuropalliative care.
The session takes place in Richmond, British Columbia, and online. Recordings are available to all registrants after the event.
What the program covers
The program follows the course of illness, with a focus on practical approaches clinicians can apply in patient care and interdisciplinary teams:
- Diagnosis and disease progression
- Key clinical decision points
- Symptom management and medication considerations
- Impact on caregivers
- Interdisciplinary and community supports
Faculty have clinical experience in ALS, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropalliative care.

Early-bird rates end September 30. Everyone who registers by that date is entered in a draw for one free registration.
