Global Day Calendar

Every June 21, the world comes together for ALS/MND. Global Day raises awareness of ALS/MND and unites the global community in hope for better treatments, a cure, and ultimately, a world free of ALS/MND.

For Global Day 2026, the International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations honoured caregivers — the people who carry so much of this disease’s weight every day — through a global calendar featuring artwork and images submitted by member associations around the world.

Created by the Global ALS/MND Community

Nearly 1,000 votes were cast to determine the order in which the submitted images appear in the calendar, with the most popular images featured first. Watch the reveal video to see the images selected by voters around the world.

Every submission — all 48 of them — appears in the calendar. See the images and read the stories behind them (PDF).
