March of Faces

The ALS/MND March of Faces is a powerful visual tribute to people around the world with ALS/MND, both past and present. Originally created in 1997 by Kyle Hahn, a person living with ALS/MND, it was conceived as a way to raise awareness and advocate for change.

Each year, the March of Faces is shared as a video on our website and as a printed banner at the Alliance Meeting and the Allied Professionals Forum. All images are used with permission from those pictured or their families. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributes to this meaningful initiative and helps amplify the voices of the global ALS/MND community.

2025 March of Faces

We would like to thank Mikey Stone and Frankie Torres for sharing their beautiful song “Losing to the Letters,” for this year’s March of Faces.

Mikey, who is living with ALS/MND, and Frankie, who lost her father to the disease, co-wrote and performed the song, and Mikey produced and engineered it.
