Every June 21, the world comes together for ALS/MND. Global Day raises awareness of ALS/MND and unites the global community in hope for better treatments, a cure, and ultimately, a world free of ALS/MND.
This year, the International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations is recognizing caregivers by creating 2027 ALS/MND Caregiver Calendar, a global collection of artwork and images honouring the compassion, strength, and dedication of those who support people living with ALS/MND every day.
Many submissions also include personal stories, artist statements, and caregiver reflections. See the images and read the descriptions (PDF).
Nearly 1,000 votes were cast from around the world. While all submitted images will be included in the calendar, public voting helped determine the order in which they will be featured.
