The ALS/MND March of Faces is a powerful visual tribute to people around the world with ALS/MND, both past and present. Originally created in 1997 by Kyle Hahn, a person living with ALS/MND, it was conceived as a way to raise awareness and advocate for change.
Each year, the March of Faces is shared as a video on our website and as a printed banner at the Alliance Meeting and the Allied Professionals Forum. All images are used with permission from those pictured or their families. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributes to this meaningful initiative and helps amplify the voices of the global ALS/MND community.

The music in the background is the song, “Won’t Give Up, My Friend,” by our own Alper Kaya, a PAL in Turkey. He created it for people living with ALS/MND and those who have lost loved ones to ALS/MND. He wrote the lyrics, and the music was created with Suno AI support.
